For Sale: Chrysler Conquest TSi Japanese Cars

The car is sunny yellow although the paint has faded, it has 68,000 original miles. The car smokes a little, the A /C doesn't work properly, the driver's side seat on the left side is torn, and the sunroof needs the trim replaced.
The car has been sitting for several years now but is a great parts car or project car for someone wanting this rare TSI. The car has black interior.
I am assisting a friend in selling this car, so please feel free to email with any questions or if you would like pictures. I got some information from my friend but have also personally looked at the car. The car was parked when it wouldn't pass the VET standards in KY.

This car does NOT run. A rod bearing spun earlier this year so I pulled the engine and trans. The whole bottom end of the engine is rebuilt. Crank was re-ground, rods were reconditioned, new main and rod bearings, new piston rings. The head is ported and the jet valves have been eliminated. While the trans was out the clutch was replaced and the gear lube in the trans was also replaced. Needs: Timing chain. The timing chain is there but it was streched during the rebuilding process. Slave cylinder. Found out it was bad after the car was put all back together and the clutch wouldn't disingage. Turbo. This car is currently set up for a big 16g turbo but does not come with one This is a very rare SHP car from the factory. The front tires are a good shape about 75% life left. The rear tires have about 35% life left. Interior is in good shape for being 17 years old. There is a small rip in the passenger side door panel as seen in the pic. Leather is slightly warn but still looks good. Body: There is no rust that I can find on or under the car. This car is from OK. The paint is only 6 years old. The driver side front fender (pic) is dented but a replacement is included. All it needs is some paint. I also have a partially finished front air dam that goes with the car. Again this car does NOT currently run and will need to be towed or trailered. I am not offering a shipping option. Pick up only. I have tired to describe the car as completely as possible. This car is being sold for parts, everything ran well until it was hit in an accident. The engine and transmission are in good working order, but the car wound up on its roof. Here is a nice 1988 TSi. It is completely stock and was a great running and handling car. The fuel pump has died and the transmission was slipping going into overdrive. That is all that is keeping it from running. I have an 87' as well that will be listed behind this one, would like to sell them both as a package deal, even have a third parts car to be thrown in as well. WILL TRADE ALL FOR 73'- 79' Datsun 240z, 260z, 280z. Im not concerned if it runs, a mint body is a must, no rust and good undercarriage. Any questions please feel free to ask. Here is a very nice 87' TSi. It was run hot once and cracked the head and cooked the turbo. Now, all the goodies include super 16g turbo(needs rebuild) down pipe new head w /racing cam and solid roller lifters, 88 ecu with matching high performance fuel rail withe fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge braided lines huge injectors. This baby was boosting 22lbs and ran a best 12.9, and consistent low 13's. I have an 88' listed as well and would love to sell them both as a package deal, even have a third parts car full of parts. 5 extra rims, hoods, fenders, intakes, dash w /gauges seats. easily worth over 1,200 w / parts car and parts. Prefer cash but would trade all for 73'-79' 240z, 260z, 280,. I do not care if it runs but a mint, rust free body and undercarriage is a must. This car is almost completly original except for the gate on the hatchback and the transmission has been freshly rebuilt. There are still 10 months and 11,500mls left on the warranty. Also,the trim has painted black. If an original Conquest is your dream car than this car is definantly for you!!! There are a few very minor things that eventualy need atention,but youll have that with a car thats 21 years old. There are no major issues,and except for the great unknown,this car has a great many miles left in it for someone to enjoy!!! I am posting for sale, my 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSI. 113,000 on the clock but......
There are alot of aftermarket performance mod's done:
Completely performance built motor 3,000 miles ago.
high compression pistons, shot peened rods, ceramic bearings, new timing chain, new valves, copper head gaskets , and ported and polished head.
new wastegate, (turbo is stock, but perfect) new cap, rotor, wires, new starter, new alternator, high rate fuel pump, turbo XS blowoff valve and crosspipe
new TPS and idle controller. car NEVER runs hot. barely hits middle of gauge in hot weather.
aux fan switch, manual boost controller, 1988 ecu (which eliminates the boost cut at high psi), fuel cut mod
High performance clutch and aluminum flywheel.New urethane suspension bushings. No cat, performance exhaust, dual HID's high /low beam, HID fog lamps
AEM Uego. Full stereo system: Pioneer AVIC-d3 with bluetooth unit, and xm satellite radio. All interior speakers were recently changed to all pioneer 5 1 /4's
JBL mono amp and 10in sub in a shaved box (the trunk room is small)
new CodeAlarm alarm. windows are tinted.
crossdrilled and slotted rotors. new ceramic pads all around.
car needs 2 things. The front airdam has cracks (but it's taped), and the previous owner mis-shifted and wound out 3rd gear. it shifts fine, but under high rps, you have to double clutch 3rd. couple of hundred to rebuild.
Everything in this car works flawlessly. I drive this car every day.
