I've been driving this car in SoCal for the last year. No engine problems. I don't want a car up here in SF, though. Gets good gas mileage. I've driven it from LA to SF 5 times in the last year without a single incident. It's not too pretty anymore, but it is very reliable transportation. Call me if interested. This 89 accord has a new transmission (67k miles) and most of the motor has been rebuilt by myself. The timing belt and tensioner with water pump has been replaced, it has new throttle body, spark plugs, tires, and ignition module. I replaced the flip headlights and the hardwire that sincronizes them and I put an aftermarket exhaust tip.
This car is 100% mechanically sound and the body is a 6 out of 10. Body needs minor repainting and new right turn signal and windshield. this costs should not exceed 200 dollars tops-that is why Iam selling it for 850 and not 1200.
