With regret, I need to part ways with my beloved 1985.5 Porsche 944. The car is a two-door coupe with a hatch-back. It has power windows, manual locks, a CD player, and a removable roof panel that I like to take off for summer drives. I understand myself to be the third owner of the car, which I have had for about the last seven years. The car has approximately 142,200 miles on it, and has recently had all of its belts replaced. Last year it had an engine overhaul, and it has recently passed its final emissions test without complication (cars older than 25 years do not have to have emissions tests in King County). The tires are in good condition. The seats are black leather, and are in relatively good shape. It’s a manual transmission, and is a lot of fun to drive.
The car is in good overall condition (body and mechanically), though the AC does not function (never investigated why – may be an easy fix), and it does not function well in reverse up a steep incline (though it does fine on non-steep inclines in reverse". The purchaser can have all of the paperwork and maintenance records that I possess, which I understand to be nearly all of them since the car was first purchased.
