My wife works for a towing company, and they just towed in an 827s. It's in ok shape, no rust I could see, 45k miles. There looks like there were electrical issues because the panel covering the wires underneath the dash is off. The owner didn't speak english but mentioned clutch, so it probably needs a clutch.
The reason I'm posting this is that I know Sterlings are rare and I hoped someone could use this car before it gets scrapped. You can buy it (with a title) for around $200 from the towing company, but it will be gone soon.

I bought one and half year ago my 1989 Toyota corolla from the very first owner when I was relocated from MN to IL. It was the nicest car for it age and had only 91000 miles. Unfortunetly, on Nov 1, 2003 another car hit the passanger side of my car and the door was out of use and the back sit window was break. I drove it in this condition for the last five months and finally bought another car. My 1989 Toyota still shines from the back, from the front and the driver side except the passanger. Its body has got no rest at all and the engine and the transmission still work fine. If the passanger side body repair in local body shop it can be drive for the next four five years without problem. It side mirrors are electric controlled and it has got also moon roof.
