i ahve a 1980 dodge mirada that is an actual police interceptor. it was used ny the butte county sheriif from 1980-1984 and was then purchased by a friends grandma who owned it until i finally talked her out of it in 2005. it has all original drive train consisting of a 318 v-8, dealer installed a727, the transmission that was only suppose to be in the 360 cars but was upgraded to it do to the police use, it has a posi trac 8 &1 /4 rear end with 2.73 gear ratio. the car is all stock with the exception of the exhaust wich has been converted to dual glass packs with side exits. it needs lower rear quarter panels and i little bit of roof work for rust repair but is straight otherwise. as far as i can find ut the police options were installed at the dealership because i can not find any numbers on them being used for police service. the car is fully ready to hit the highway with just needing an oil change and current tags. you can contact me at andrewweishaar2@hotmail.com for more information on the car. i will disclose my number to serios inquiries only!! thank you
